Hey y’all!
Happy to be back in your inboxes. It’s been a busy few weeks of interviews!
Last Sunday, ESPN’s storytelling brand, E60, released “The Oklahoma Standard,” reported by ESPN senior writer Baxter Holmes. Yours truly is featured in the doc, talking about what I think is a deeply important story of triumph.
Also, my interview with event planner extraordinaire Mindy Weiss for Interview Magazine is out now. Mindy is who Kim Kardashian and Hailee Steinfeld call up when they need an event to look amazing. Give it a read!

Quick Take
Costume Art

On Monday, May 4th, the art, fashion, sports, and entertainment worlds came together at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the annual Met Gala. This year’s dress code was “Fashion is Art” …which, of course, I dig. The way I put together my fits for the tunnel — and off-duty for the streets — often feels like I’m creating a collage of colors and textures for maximum impact.
My look came together quite nicely, if I do say so myself. Designer Zac Posen was a great collaborator. When he showed me a Yves Klein Blue suit, it was love at first sight. Blue is my favorite color, so being able to wear it in Gap Studio was even more impactful. I thought that the vibrant color brought a lot of eyes to the great design. I was very grateful to wear it… and I thought I wore it well! Shoutout to Gap and Zac for trusting me to be a part of that special night.
Let me know what you think the best Met Gala look from last week is below!

Tunnel Fits
This Week’s Top 4 Tunnel Fits

A’ja Wilson
A’ja looked amazing. From hair all the way down to her hands, everything flowed well. Really fit on theme. The makeup is on point and it just fits her tall figure. Really like it. Good look, A’ja.
Naomi Osaka
What an amazing look. The aesthetic, the colors, the theme, the culture. Probably one of my favorite looks from this night. It really looks amazing.
Serena Williams
I love this kind of silver, strong, kind of gladiator vibe. The details are all great. Serena looks great as well.
Paige Bueckers
Yes, Paige! I like it. Love how she’s been switching up her hair and makeup even if she’s wearing a nice lovely suit. Everything is giving from the bag to the shoe. The details on the entire look is great on Paige.

Shade It Up
Now that the season is over, it’s time for some hard-earned downtime. Me and the fam are excited to get some R&R in this summer, and there’s no better way to prep for time in the sun than by rocking a pair of good shades. I’ve always loved frames in bold colors, or sunglasses with colored lenses.
What are some of your favorite styles?

On May 28th, my wonderful wife Nina will be hosting an event that is deeply important to our family: a brunch in honor of Mental Health Awareness month, hosted by our Why Not? Foundation. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the day, but I wanted to shout out my lady and this essential work to get it on everyone’s radar.
